Why are you serving on Tiroa E and Te Hape B Trusts? 

I am one of the many owners within the Trusts, who continues the legacy of nga Rereahu Tupuna to; Serve and Protect – Kaitiakitanga. I have fostered the Pathway of Knowledge to learn from the past and apply Continuous Improvement from the valuable lessons learned from our Tupuna and Governance Predecessors. To support Current Leaders and our Successors “the next generation of leaders” to apply their skills in an ethical style; for the betterment of the Trusts Triple Bottom Line: People – Nga Pou o te Whenua; owners, beneficiaries, marae, staff and community. Profit – Nga Moni me ona Mana; the Trusts has the capacity of financial and human assets to increase its capabilities to be more than just farming. Planet – Nga Mirimiri o Te Taiao; healthy whenua-waterways-air, effective and efficient zero waste management policy and plans to reduce the impact to Te Taiao.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Applied Management Level 5 to 7 (pass and complete in October 2021)

    Diploma in Maori Governance and Leadership Level 6

    NZIM Certificate in Management Level 4

    FITEC Modern Apprenticeship in Machining Level 4
